Coach Archer joins the Patriots coaching staff for his second season in 2026. A native of Michigan, Coach Archer was a midfielder at Brighton High School (2010-2013) before competing for the University of Michigan (2013-2016). As a face-off specialist for the Wolverines, he was a member of Teams 2, 3, 4, and 5, helping build the program during its early years in NCAA Division I.
Prior to arriving in Virginia Beach, Coach Archer coached at Skyline High School in the Seattle area. His coaching philosophy centers on individual skill development and mastering the details. He enjoys teaching unconventional techniques and believes players should maximize their creativity when playing the game.
When he isn’t on the lacrosse field or emulating Lyle Thompson in his backyard, Brian serves as an F/A-18 Pilot in the United States Navy.
Jack Vivonetto, originally from Rocky Point, New York, is a former collegiate lacrosse player and was a three sport athlete for the Eagles. He played at Hofstra University from 2004 to 2009, where he served as team captain during the 2008 and 2009 seasons and helped lead The Pride to two CAA championship titles and 3x NCAA Tournament appearances. Today, Jack resides in Virginia Beach with his wife and three children, where he continues to value family life and the lessons learned through athletics.
Andy Reich joined the program in 2024 as a proud parent and volunteer Assistant Coach. He is honored to contribute among the FC Lacrosse coaching staff to Coach DeLuca’s culture of toughness, selflessness, and discipline.
Coach Reich participated in various team sports growing up and discovered a love for Lacrosse in high school playing Close Defense and as a Long Stick Midfielder. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 2005 where his experience as a team player has positively influenced his military career.
Currently a Lieutenant Commander, Coach Reich is serving as an Intelligence Officer onboard the USS GERALD R FORD which has been deployed across Europe, the Caribbean, and the Middle East since June 24th, 2025.
Among the joy and excitement of homecoming with his family, Coach Reich is looking forward to reuniting with the players and coaches of Patriots Lacrosse.
Andy Bennett is entering his third season with FC Lacrosse. With over 15 years of youth coaching experience in basketball, football, and soccer, Andy brings a deep love for teaching, mentoring, and helping young athletes grow.
A Hampton Roads Academy alum, Andy was an All‑Conference defenseman and a member of the Virginia Commonwealth Team. “High school lacrosse gave me some of my favorite memories—the teammates, the long bus rides, the shared highs and lows. Watching our FC players build those same memories has been one of the most rewarding parts of coaching.”
Andy graduated from James Madison University, where he met his wife, Holly. Together they have four children, including their oldest, who is now a senior on the FC lacrosse team. Professionally, Andy works as a Director of Engineering for an international technology company supporting media and broadcast production. Away from the field, he enjoys family time, sports, and playing guitar.
Stanton McDuffie is excited to be in his third season as part of the Patriots’ coaching staff.
Coach McDuffie grew up in Virginia Beach and played lacrosse at Norfolk Academy. After graduating from NA, he studied Commercial Real Estate Finance as a Helms Scholar at the College of Charleston, where he played MCLA Lacrosse.
Nowadays, Coach McDuffie works for Commonwealth Commercial Partners, where he focuses on Industrial and retail leasing and sales. He is the chairman of the annual Yellow Bat Classic Wiffle Ball Tournament that benefits Families of Autism Coming Together (FACT).
Coach DeLuca joined the Patriots in the team’s inaugural year as Assistant Coach and is currently in his third season as Head Coach. He believes in doing things “the right way,” with tremendous attention to detail. Coach aims to develop young men of high character and believes winning is a natural result of that process.
A New Jersey native, DeLuca attended Mountain Lakes High School, where he was fortunate enough to play for two legendary coaches—Doug Wilkins and Tim Flynn. DeLuca won a Group I Football State Championship under Coach Wilkins and two Lacrosse State Championships under Coach Flynn. His list of world-class coaches expanded when DeLuca committed to Duke University to play lacrosse under John Danowski. In DeLuca’s four years at Duke, the Blue Devils made four Final Four appearances and won two National Championships. DeLuca was a three-year starter at defensive midfield. He also walked on to Duke’s football team, playing on special teams for two seasons.
Following graduation, DeLuca attended Navy Officer Candidate School and then Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL training. He completed multiple deployments with SEAL Team TEN and SRT-2 before leaving active duty for the Navy Reserve, where he continues to serve. DeLuca received a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from Northern Illinois University, where he played another year of Division I Football following his active military service.
DeLuca is married to his wife, Baily, a former Duke Track and Field athlete in the Heptathlon, Pole Vault, and 4 x 100m relay. The couple has three young children—James, Mia, and Seamus. DeLuca is a commercial real estate broker with Colliers International.
